CWD's architecture was most recently featured in the January 2002 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. The assignment: To create space for a new baby in a Mill Valley couple's cottage-style home. The solution: Transform a closet into a nursery by adding a dormer window, and add space to the master bedroom with a rear bump-out.
To add functionality and fluidity to the new set-up, CWD created a transitional dressing area between the bedroom and nursery. A redesigned bathroom freed up space and honoured the home's heritage by replacing a large built-in spa tub with a freestanding Victorian-style tub.
